VPN not hiding location

Hello everyone,

Last year I used F-secure VPN to access media platforms which allow streaming only for "national" users.

Renewed the subscription this year but now the platform recognized that I am not where I "pretend" through the VPN proxy and shuts me off.

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

We want to assure you that we’re actively working on a major update to enhance both the user experience and technical capabilities of the VPN. This update, rolling out from March 2025 onwards, will introduce new features, including support for WireGuard, which may help improve your experience.

    To better understand and resolve your issue, could you provide us with more details? Specifically, which streaming services are affected? Which VPN location/server are you connected to when experiencing the issue? What is your operating system (OS) version?

    Same with me. Was trying Switzelands, Austiras and Luxemburgs national televisions, but all said the same -i wasn’t in same country. Same with other device…
