DeepGuard bloks DCS.exe

Deepguard doesn't allow to start Digital Combat Simulation with "entry point not found error in DLL" message. ( the win 11 is in hungarian)

I cannot allow dcs.exe because that isn't among the blocked applications.

If I stop running the DeepGuard DCS runs fine, but I think it isn't a convinient solution.

Does anyone have an idea how can I enable to run dcs.exe if DeepGuard is on?

    Hello @Levi77

Welcome to the F-Secure Community. Thank you for your question.

It’s likely that the issue you’re experiencing is related to DeepGuard injecting a DLL to monitor the behaviour of certain executables. This is a known issue that has also affected Steam, where some applications have built-in copy protection that reacts negatively to such injections, causing them to malfunction.

While DeepGuard isn’t directly blocking these applications, it may be interfering just enough to cause internal failures.

To resolve this, we recommend excluding the affected applications from DeepGuard. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here: Managing excluded applications.

Please let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance. Have a wonderful day.
