    Ik gebruik Windows10 met Microsoft® Outlook® 2016 MSO (Versie 2501 Build 16.0.18429.20132) 32 bits. Daarnaast deze maand gebruik gemaakt van tijdelijk aanbod F-Secure. On dit moment verwijderd .

    Have you updated windows 10 and outlook to the latest possible before installing the latest f-secure total(19.8) ?

    what port have you configured for receiving emails ?

    Outlook typically uses the following ports for receiving emails, depending on the email protocol you are using:

    1. IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol):
      • Port: 993 (SSL/TLS encryption)
    2. POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3):
      • Port: 995 (SSL/TLS encryption)
    3. Exchange (for Microsoft Exchange Server):
      • Port: 443 (HTTPS encryption)

    For most secure connections, SSL or TLS is used on these ports. If you have an Exchange account or are using Microsoft 365, the default port will usually be 443 for encrypted communication.

    If you're not receiving emails in Microsoft Outlook, you may want to check your server settings and make sure the correct ports are configured based on the protocol you're using.

    Here are the recommended port settings based on the type of email service you're using:

    1. IMAP (Recommended for most users):

    • Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: imap.yourmailserver.com
    • Port: 993
    • Encryption: SSL/TLS
