Trusted Networks promlems

Have you tried to connect to the network(Wifi) first and mark it trusted afterwards(VPN setting) if you find it secure(at least password required). The new version you use should also start VPN automagically if it finds an open network. For me using the same version and Pixel 6a it works that way..

Hello @MK99
Thank you for your patience.
We have consulted with our product team and can confirm that the Trusted Network feature does not impact the VPN on/off state when the safe WiFi feature is enabled. It will only determine whether access to devices on the local network is allowed (to bypass the VPN). Marking a local WiFi network as trusted
Additionally, if you have enabled the "Turn on VPN automatically" setting, you will need to manually turn off the VPN when connected to a trusted WiFi network. Making sure your WiFi connection is safe
Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful day ahead.
