Downgrade to Internet security

I have Total (now expired) and want to downgrade to Internet Security because I do not use additional features. Do I just apply a new subscription code on my F-Secure subscription renewal, or do I need to uninstall Total and reinstal Internet Security. How does this effect my current account and if cancelled then how do I create a new subscription using the same email address?

    Regarding your issue, if you already have a subscription code for Internet Security only, you can add it directly to your current account. There's no need to uninstall and reinstall the app—your subscription will automatically update the features.

    According many previous alike experiences, the my.f-secure.com service does not handle this with honor as a self-service service(downgrade subscriptions), so I suggest you contact customer service directly.They have to to do it manually..

    F-Secure does not provide customer care support services for Africa. I cannot make international phone-calls from my location. All their online chat services is unavailable and need an email address to contact admin directly. Can someone assist please.

    According F-secure support web-pages english chat service should be available 24/7,expert available at any time.Official direct support email-address does not exist(as far as i know) .There have been complaints about long waiting times for the chat service here in the community as well.Occasionally community admins and moderators may send PM:s to customers in order to solve very tricky issues..

    On Firefox, as well as on Google Chrome, the chat button does not open any pop-up window or chat feature. I have gone through the whole list of countries to check if that is not the problem. On Microsoft Edge, the Chat feature appear but when clicked, a notice appeared Chat offline, or not available.

    Well,community moderators and admins should verify that their chat services work as expected.As an ordinary contributor there is nothing i can do. @Firmy ,@PawełP and other F-secure community fellows,check availability of F-Secure chat-services (24/7) or correct the visiting hours
