DeepGuard keeps closing my files, how do I stop it?

So I'm trying to mod a game and I've downloaded a file from a trusted website but when I open it deep-guard keeps closing it. I tried looking under the section with blocked websites and such but the file isn't anywhere to be found. Deep-guard is a useful feature but I would like to open this file. Is there a way to allow this specific file or turn it off temporarily? I've never had issues with Deep-guard before when trying to mod a game. What do I do? Please help, thank you! ( ̄〜 ̄;)

    Hello,

    You could try to check if DeepGuard listed the app as blocked: Online Help (Guide); And restore it / exclude it via that way.

    Or to try manually exclude path/executable: Online Help (Guide);

    It is possible to turn off / disable DeepGuard via Settings (on/off toggle) as well - what is less recommended step.

    If you are sure that downloaded file is safe and okay, the best way is to send it to F-Secure Labs and request 'whitelisting' item (or sort of): https://www.f-secure.com/en/support/submit-a-sample

    Depends on its current detection / reasoning - it may be possible to detect it with less impact on your control; for example, giving you a possibility to 'exclude it' on the go.

    However, I think that DeepGuard should give a bit information and if there is a 'proper' detection name to understand the risk. You can try to look at it and think if this is a very generic detection (false positive or just as safety net action); or indeed something tricky and risky with this file; for real.

    Sorry for my English.

    Thanks!
