Hi,

The banking protection is blocking to many webpages for me including news websites like the guardian where I have to allow each individual article page. Is there a way to allow at domain level?

Thanks

    Hello,

If we assume that the website domain you are visiting is "https://www.theguardian.com", then add the following to be allowed "theguardian.com". To do so: Allowing blocked websites | Total | Latest | F-Secure User Guides

In your case, maybe each allowed entry was like "www.theguardian.com/category/2024/dec/03/some-story-about-something-very-or-not-very-important"; Or generic entry was "www.theguardian.com" instead of "theguardian.com", while resulted page is latter-based.

However, could you provide a little more information. What is your operating system or device; maybe browser too.

I mean, Banking Protection should not be 'active' or blocking something while you are not doing any online payment, bank-related things and so on. I am not sure that some news websites are crucial for online/bank transactions. So, maybe Banking Protection just should not be active at all at this point. And another thing is if you locally allowed website - it will be whitelisted for Browsing protection as well (not only for Banking protection's blocking). Thus, the better solution for certain cases could be to contact F-Secure Labs and request them to allow domain while on Banking Protection session: Submit a sample | F‑Secure (to choose give more details and then claim it as "Banking Protection Related trouble" with a description about inability to use website while Banking Protection session is active; however, it should be really reasonable to expect this website available or required for potential banking transaction/payment)

    Thanks!
