Import CSV from LastPass

When I try to import a CSV file from Lastpass into the F-Secure password vault, I get an error message: “Import failed. Please refer to the log file for details.” What should I do?

We welcome you to our forum and thank you for your post.

The situation you describe may have to do with the fact that csv files can have different formats. It could be that the values in the csv file imported currently by Lastpass are stored in a format that is not supported by our software.

Therefore, we encourage you to use the instructions we created for those who wanted to transfer passwords from Kaspersky. Please note the modifications regarding the csv file.

Is it indicated where to look for these logs? If so, and you can look at them, what details are there?

Your exported CSV file is an encrypted version of your LastPass vault data in CSV format? Or generic csv export option?
