Freedome is really slow since the last one or two weeks - it's really very worse, intependet which node is selected.

 Ms-edge and firefox internetexplorer faced "TLS-Handshakes" action/messages.

By configure the redirection (enabeling uncontrolled/free trafic) for firefox.exe or edge, the issues disappeared.

This issue was alredy reported to the support and no realy answer ist provided tiil now. It's also very worse :-((

As a long-time 'Freedom' user, I'm on the verge of leaving 'F-Secure' for good - due to so much unnecessary hassle and lacking support assistance (which was also the case in the past). Moreover, it's disrespectful!"

For the last time: please provide on this side, for all users, the solution to this issue !

    Hello @JoKr

We welcome you to our forum and thank you for your post.

The problem you describe may be related to TLS 1.3 hybridized Kyber support.

The recent updates to all Chromium-based browsers, including Edge, Chrome, and Brave, to version 124, have introduced a new feature called "TLS 1.3 hybridized Kyber support." This feature seems to be causing difficulties with our VPN service. We are currently conducting further investigation into this matter.

In the interim, as a workaround, we recommend disabling this feature in your browser settings

We published more on this topic in an article on our forum:

Timeouts in loading web pages when using F-Secure VPN products - F-Secure Community

I hope this information will be helpful.

    Best regards.

I disable the "TLS..Kyper" on firefox but the timeout or slowy handshakes are still there.

I close the VPN. I hope the issue will be solved.

With the latest FF (1.32.01,64bit) the right setting is

which should be set to false, doublecheck

    "Open Firefox

In the address bar, type: about:config and press enter

In the new search bar, type: security.tls.enable_kyber

and then click the two arrows on the right until

it says "false" in the middle. Now restart Firefox "

    Dear Pawel

thank you for all the feedback. As other users, after disabling "TLS..Kyper" on FF, the problem disappears, BUT later one, is sow the TSL messages again and now regularly (not so often than before) the FF is slow/frozen.

@PawełP: it seems for us, that the software quality assurance work is taking based on the user-feedback - sorry :(

    Best regards

    Johann
