Bypassing certain web addresses with VPN
Hello,
I have F-secure total, and it seems that certain web addresses cannot be configured to bypass its VPN? For instance, the Finnish Broacasting company has a service (areena.yle.fi), which cannot be used if F-secure's VPN is on (I've head that other manufacturers' VPN Products don't have this problem?). Therefore, the VPN needs to be turned off manually in order to use that site.
F-secure Total allows a possibility for applications (e.g. Firefox) to automatically bypass the VPN but this is utterly stupid because by turning off VPN for a web browser totally negates the very idea of using a VPN in the first place! It is REALLY so that F-secure's VPN cannot be configured to automatically allow certain web addresses to bypass it? It it is so, what was F-secure thinking when they decided to make such a VPN product? The product name "Total" refers to the total idiocy at F-secure?

Hello,
After contacting our R&D department, I can share with pleasure a positive piece of information. Well, the VPN bypass option is currently in the preparation phase and is expected to be implemented into F-Secure in the future.
Thank you all for all the constructive feedback on this topic.
Best regards.

That is wonderful news 😊 Anything you can do to enhance the functionality and settings of the Total VPN, the better, especially for those who used the Freedome VPN app. to help entice them to use or stay with Total.
By the way F-Secure, nice results in the latest AV-Comparatives Sept report, as well as AVLab.pl latest report 👍️ 😊
