Better Control and Monitoring on Scheduled/Manual Scans

Hello,

currently (2024-08-23, F-Secure 19.5), the Scanning Results are scattered between Pop-Up Windows, HTML Reports and the main App.

Reality: On bigger/modern systems (>50GB HDD/SSD) instead of scanning for days (total disk usage across 3 SSDs: 4TB) and potentially failing/freezing.

Any chance of better control on the scheduled/manual scanning?

Feature Request: Visualize / Segment recently scanned vs. rarely scanned parts of the FileSystem, e.g. in a tree map (as a heatmap) like WinDirStat/qDirStat do it for file sizes.

F-Secure could show a similar tree map. I propose 3-4 Categories: Green (scanned within the last week), Yellow (last month) and Orange (last year). Any unscanned Files could be Red.

A tree map like WinDirStat/qDirStat with filesizes and scan recency (instead of file extensions) could help prioritize the scheduled and manual efforts to get proper security coverage.

An example could be to scan 10-50 GB per scheduled scan to achieve full coverage within reasonable time frames (if a user has 750GB and the scanning takes hours, split it in schedulable 30 minute segments).
