Does a silent installer exist for F-Secure Internet Security?

I'd like to automate the installation of this software if possible?

Full silent installation is not possible because you need to perform interactive login with an embedded browser to SSO system to get the license. You can do silent installation until that point (user login) by giving the network installer parameter -s. This information applies to Windows installer.

Hello again.

There are multiple switches but most of them are for internal use cases or specific technical scenarios. The ones that apply to your case would be -s for silent install and -l <code> for selecting language of the installation. Language codes that are supported are: bg,cs,da,de,el,en,es,es-MX,et,fi,fr,fr-CA,hr,hu,it,ja,ko,lt,nl,no,pl,pt,pt-BR,ro,ru,sl,sr,sv,tr,vi,zh,zh-HK,zh-TW

Both Internet Security and Total have the same installer and the product gets determined when user logs in and gets the license that enables certain features.

If you are running the installer programmatically, you want to check the return code of the binary. 0 means success, 99 means reboot is needed to continue, 100 and 101 mean success but reboot is recommended. Everything else means failure.

Do you have a link for an offline/full installation file?

..or is there only an online installer that requires internet during install?

In that case, do you have a link for that or can I just create a new account and download a trial?

I'm looking for an installer that doesn't have any account info embedded - for preinstall purposes.

The installer is online installer and we don't have offline installer available as in this industry even a week old installer is not protecting the user any more.

You can create a trial account and download the installer. Installer is generic otherwise except when you download it from "My F-Secure" is adds a custom token to the filename that links it to your account. If you remove that token by renaming the installer, then it becomes a generic installer. The token is at the end of filename between underscores.

We are already registered as resellers - when we generate a key and send out a link, is there anything in that installer that ties the installation to us?

Or is that installer completely generic if we just remove the if from the filename?

Installer is always just generic since it's cryptographically signed and can't be modified without breaking the signature. The only place where you can have key is in the filename. If you make sure it's not there, then it's generic installer.

Is there any way to use F-Secure without an account at all, but just a license key?

Ie. can anything, such as just a license key, be included in the filename before doing a silent install?

Keycode based licenses have been deprecated and nowadays account is always required.
