Need to stop auto updates of F-Secure virus protection

This has caused me so much grief. I don't realize an update is going so my Internet experience gets really slow, messes up in financial transactions, messes up in other things I am working on, and I end up re-booting computer and my wi-fi set up. Who knows what damage I am doing to the F-Secure update. At the least a warning should pop up on our computer that an update is being installed. I would much prefer to choose the time to let the update take place as is offered with other software updates.

We regret to hear about your experience with the F-Secure product. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pause or schedule the update installation on the app.

However, these updates should not disrupt your internet connection, interfere with transactions, or require you to reboot your machine. Based on your description, it seems that the updates might be coming from your operating system.

We recommend contacting your computer provider for further assistance.
