How to NOT have the F-Secure open at startup?

Since Freedome became F-Secure VPN, the app opens at startup although it is not in the list of apps to be opened upon startup in my systems parameters. Before, only the protection daemon opend, not the app. Is it possible to have the same with the new app?

We welcome you to our forum and thank you for your post.

It seems that your case is related to the smart task function.

If there is any task to be done in the program, the program opens automatically when the system restarts. If you click on Dismiss in the program under smart tasks, please make sure to uncheck the Don Show Again checkbox beforehand. (as shown in the screenshot)

If, despite the lack of smart tasks, the program still starts with the system startup, please take a screenshot, and send it to us.

This will help in further analysis of this case.
