Issue F-secure and windows defender both active

Lately I have a lot of issue that F-secure and Windows defender are both active at the same time. Current solution todo a restart some time a couple of restarts are needed to get only F-secure active.

Windows seems to have issue detecting that F-secure is active.

Did search on your forum for a solution, most releated subject are old. Tip / advice I found to use the deinstall tool and reinstall, did not solve the issue.

Both virus-scanner running at the same time causes the system being very laggy due the high CPU utilisation. Especially defender.

Running windows 10 pro 22H2. All last updates installed, latest version of F-secure.

Anybody has the same experience and tips to solve this issue.

I would prefer to deinstall windows defender but that not an option for windows ☹️

Ps running program is KPN Veilig but is a skinned version of F-secure I have via my internet provider.

We recommend contacting KPN directly for assistance with this matter. The program you are using is a customized version of the F-Secure product for KPN. You can reach them through this link.

Additionally, the issue you are experiencing may be due to having periodic scanning enabled in Windows Defender. This feature can cause your system to use a lot of resources, as Windows Defender may scan the same files as our real-time scanning. Therefore, we suggest turning off periodic scanning to allow the app to function properly.
