Release 19.7 beta 1

We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

Highlight of this release:

• Secure Browsing feature switched to use new F-Secure URL reputation backend service
• Product deep link handling moved from main user interface application to menubar app to allow opening settings without causing main user interface to launch
• Crash report collection fixed to use an ID unique to each report instead of the machine

• Fixed bug related to single feature product variant upgrades
• Various Vault UX additions and fixes.

We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

Highlight of this release:

• Safari extension install action fixed on the smart task shown in the product main UI
• Fixed a timing issue which could resulted in Safari extension "Allow on every website" smart task not shown in the product main UI
• Optimized load on file reputation backend by placing per hour quota
• Fixed file reputation statistics telemetry sent periodically
• Fixed a crash reported in product telemetry caused by improper casting of contextual error metadata

We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

Highlight of this release:

• Improved stability of the native messaging host used by Secure Browsing extensions by fixing a timing issue with access to shared state
• Improved state management of the product update service by scheduling a deferred termination in case connection towards the update download service is lost
• Restored system proxy support for the product update download service. The product will respect the proxy set up in System Settings app

• Improved Password Vault stability for users using certain locales (French, French-Canadian). Some users were not able to unlock the vault.
• Removed work-in-progress views and improved UI state management in the Password Vault UI related to ongoing refactoring.
