The F-Secure extension freezes Firefox in MacOS

Firefox (122.0) on MacOS 14.3 Sonoma keeps freezing when the F-Secure extension for Firefox is turned on.

As soon as I turn it off, Firefox works fine. But I'd like the security features of F-Secure.

The browser extension for Safari seems to work fine.
