This just started recently - blocking a google search for recipes as banking sites. Only happening on this computer (windows 10, Chrome), not others. Ideas? Had previously been to a bank site on Firefox, but had logged out.

    Hi @oldguy55

    Thank you for your post.

To be able to help, I would like to ask for some details.

Is the problem that the Chrome browser activates Banking Protection on sites that are not bank sites?

Or is the problem that all pages in Chrome are blocked when you want to open them?

Is the bank page in Firefox still open?

How does the Chrome browser behave when you close the Firefox browser? Does the problem still occur?

    Send screenshots of the problem.

This way it will be easier for us to determine the source of the problem and find a solution.

    Have a nice day

The Chrome browser was used to do a recipe search. As each search result was clicked, the page was blocked until allow was clicked, then you had to add the website to the allowed area. Then getting to the actual page was an issue; shutting down Chrome and reopening usually worked.

In Firefox, the banking site had been logged out of, but the landing page was still open. Does your software span browsers?

Trying to repeat that just now, Chrome blocked some recipe links but not all, while the bank website was up on Firefox.
