New laptop, installed Freedome app to Windows 11, but cannot insert subscription code

Hello,

I have an active Freedome account till August 15, 2024. I got a new laptop and log in to my account, but the system only gives me a trial account. There is no place where I could insert my active subscription code. Can you advice?

    Hi @Markku_Aspholm2023

    Welcome to the F-Secure Community. Thank you for your post. You do not need any code to activate the license for FREEDOME VPN on your device.

    If you have installed your FREEDOME VPN app from our website, you can activate the app via the Log in button on the Subscription page.

    To activate the license, do as follows:

    1.     Open FREEDOME VPN.

    2.     From the left navigation, select Subscription.

    3.     Select the Log in button.

    4.     Enter the email address and password that you use to log in to your account on My F-Secure.

    Your FREEDOME VPN license has now been activated.

    If you did not install the program yet on your PC follow this instruction:

    1.      Log in to your My F-Secure account.

    2.      In the My F-Secure portal, select Install FREEDOME.

    3.      Select My device, and then select Continue

    The Choose device type window opens.

    4.      Select This computer, and then select Download for Windows.

    5.      Find the downloaded installation file, double-click it and select Install.

    6.      Select Accept to agree to the terms of service. If prompted, enter your administrator credentials.

    The installation begins.
