I have downloaded the file multiple times, and it says no app found. when I search the app store it says the app is not currently available in my region or country (Canada). but I had no problem putting the app on my iPhone?
Sorry for my reply. I am also only an F-Secure user and I am not experienced with Mac platform at all.
However, could you tell which one solution there and which file 'is not found'.
Let's assume that this is "F-Secure TOTAL" and the place where you tried to download installation file is "My F-Secure portal".

so, when you tried to run downloaded file from the portal - it says 'no app found' or something like that. And you tried to do it on your Mac computer/laptop. Right?

Likely that the store should be about 'mobile' application (iOS). Perhaps, they give you a wrong 'error' reason about unavailable state of application for MacOS. But I am not sure, because indeed described situation is a bit of strange.
There is, actually, an article about AppStore. It is not like in your description, but another trouble -

Could you try to follow it and check which step will be with a trouble result?
Additionally, I tried to search about "no app found" with relation to MacOS and could not get something which is not really internal trouble (so, should not be met by user).
But it is good if you will check that downloading (dmg?! file) finished with success.
And that your MacOS version is supported. For example, I cannot install F-Secure Internet Security (old SAFE) on macOS version 10.14 (Mojave) or older - F-Secure Community

Will be nice if you could back with some more information and points about your trouble (especially after checking some of points mentioned in my reply).
