I have gotten a new iPad. Installed freedome but there is no option to enter my still valid subscription code.
This has never been an problem before..
does anyone know how to fix this.

F-Secure has launched a new subscription type for FREEDOME last month. All users can have a My F-Secure account for FREEDOME to manage the subscription more efficiently directly from the account. This also includes checking which device you have installed the app, renewing and buying more licenses. All can be done from the account.

I am also only an F-Secure user.
I am not sure if my advice will be up to the spot, but for sure this trouble was discussed in the Community before - so you will still have the opportunity to look for something better (Freedome VPN board there: https://community.f-secure.com/en/categories/freedome)
So, I will assume that you have an App Store subscription (iOS-only subscription). If your experience is about "multi-platform" subscription, then: How do I install and activate F-Secure FREEDOME for iOS? - F-Secure Community // alternatively: How do I install and activate F-Secure FREEDOME for iOS? - F-Secure Community (where Freedome Account ID is likely subscription code)
However, if your solution is F-Secure TOTAL (where Freedome is part of this package). If nothing is helpful, then could you add some information. Something like - where you are looking for the option to enter your subscription code and how it looks like the impossibility of doing this (considering the steps described in the mentioned articles).
In the meantime, I think the folks at F-Secure can help in more detail (by being able to see subscription information). So maybe you don't have to try anything yourself.
