Cannot scan USB

There is a bug where some USB devices that do not use standard filesystem have the option to scan them in right-click context menu. When trying to use this option you get an error and scan does not start. This is fixed in (soon to come) 18.5 release where the option is no longer there.

non riesce da giorni l'analisi delle chiavette usb, quando le introduco sulle porte, ho provato a disattivare DEFENDER ma senza risultati.
Anche l'analisi dei file o unità del PC da lo stesso risultato:
ERRORE NON SPECIFICATO!
Qualche idea su dove cercare il problema?

However, regarding your issue, may I confirm with you that you do not have an option to "Scan for viruses" after plugging in your USB stick when right-clicking?
If yes, kindly go to this link to uninstall by using the Uninstallation tool and reinstall SAFE again https://community.f-secure.com/safe-en/kb/articles/6284-how-to-reinstall-f-secure-safe-for-windows
If not, kindly provide us with more details of the issue. You may also attach a screenshot to this post.

Incompatibility problem solved.
F-Secure SAFE Version 18.4 (4.90.1143) It is not compatible with: Windows 11 Pro edition Version 21H2 (Build: 22000.1042)
The resolution was set in Windows "Troubleshooting", compatibility on Windows 8.
