Should I be worried?

I am in Sweden. Freedome is connected to Sweden.

But Web-browsers Edge and Chrome (Language)were starting on Netherlands. La

After I started the Computer and Router again, problem is gone.

Again **** 3rd time

My userprofile on win-10 is big. 

I created a new user (with new profile).

But www.f-secure.com/nl came again as third time.

I am used to clean cache/cookies before shutdowning my computer.

I have not had any kind of interest about to look Internet-information from Netherlands.

I succeeded: ipconfig /release after that I activated Freedome-VPN.

And www.f-secure.com/se-sv came visible as first site.

Diffrerence: on new IP-configuration DNS-address is missing.

I hope "safety web-browser" or safe "start page" from F-secure.

    It happende again. "I am not in Netherland".

    Start Page on EDGE and Chrome is www.f-secure.com.

    When location on VPN Freedom is for example Norway so language should be Norwegian on start page.

    as result //www.f-secure.com/no)

    But now it happened it is //www.f-secure.com/nl.

    I tried with command ipconfig /release .., /renew /flushdns, but it didn' help.

    Hi @netsuppor99

    May I ask you try clear the browser cache on both browser and check again?

    If the issue still remain, please provide us the screen shot of landing page that highlighting wrong country i.e www/example.com/no, alongside tested result of Freedome IP address that connected to.

    To test the current location IP address:

    1. Turn Freedome ON and select Sweden
    2. Visit the website https://www.iplocation.net/, note down the IP address
    3. You can now open new tab and click this: https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo and enter the IP address and click Submit button to see what those services tell about your IP address.

    Hi @netsuppor99

    Most of the time, this issue can be fixed using the simple basic troubleshooting techniques, like network reset or clearing the DNS cache. Sometimes bad results will be cached and therefore need to be cleared from the cache in order for you to communicate with the host correctly.

    If you happen to see the same issue again, please feel free to reach our F-Secure support team with the generated fsdiag logs for further investigation.

    hi,

    thanks. Now I know how to react next time.

    I tried command IPCONFIG /flushdns .

    when i run ipconfig /ALL DNS Servers shows IP-adr 0.0.0.0

    But I can get DNS Server-adr with command nslookup, but Default Server : UnKwown.

    Problem is repeating randomly .

    Workaround: I start again my computer and router.

    My Router gets DHCP-Adr. from Internet provider.

    But how my Computer gets DNS-adr for my network card when using Freedom VPN???

    What is the right/recommended DNS-configuration on win10-client network card.

    Two days "no incidents". I discussed Internet Provider-Support.

    My QUESTION:

    My router gets radomly two kind of DHCP-IP addresses from Internet provider.

    It means that Internet provider has two DHCP-Servers to deliver IP-adresser.

    I see that those servers are on different newtworks.

    first server 46.x.x.x and second server 188.126.x.x.

    Server 188.126.x.x. delivers "right". With 188.126.x.x-IP I do not get www.f-secure.com/nl as a start page.


    My Internet Provider recommended to configurate my network card's DNS-address so:

    Primary DNS-adr = 1.1.1.1

    Secondary DNS-adr= 1.0.0.1


    my qestion:

    Is it safe to use those ID-adresses?

    I checked on the Internet: //www.whoisip.se

    Result:
