Freedome - cannot access virtual box (host-only network) when vpn on

I have a host-only virtual box network on macosx. When the vpn tunnel is on I cannot access the machine (by IP address).

I've seen some DNS related issues - but as I'm not using DNS, does anyone know why the VPN would prevent a local (192.168..) network?

We do not have official support for virtual environments with our F-Secure Freedome VPN. This may be a case where something causes the network interface to wake up slowly after the restarting of a suspended VM. This is just a guess though, as we have not designed Freedome to work in this kind of environment.

However, in any case, you are advised not to change the DNS address like that as it may cause problems for Freedome and could potentially cause some traffic to leak outside the Freedome VPN tunnel.
