Is it possible to exclude folder from the virus scanner?

in Home Security Beta Programs

If I right click on FS protection there is an option to choose what to scan, which actually scans that location. But I want to turn on real time scanning, but exclude certain folders like git repo's where a lot of new files get generated as part of a build process.

Having the virus scanner slows everything down considerably.

    I'm not on my PC and I forget where it is now but I'm pretty sure you can add files and folders to an Exclusions list somewhere.

    You would think :)

    All I see is this, "choose what to scan" doesn't do what you might think (or rather doesn't exclude locations)

    Didn't realise it was on a Mac. Perhaps I was thinking of Deepguard exclusions.

    Anyway, I'll get my coat... 😒
