AddOn Browsing Protection Support for Opera and Opera GX

Hello,

I wanted to ask if the AddOn Brwosing Protection  support for Opera is planned, since it is also based on Chromium, like Vivaldi, Microsft Edge etc.?

I use both Browsers and it would be nice if they would be supported by F-Secure

Sorry for my reply. I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions).

No such plans were officially announced. Microsoft Edge (Chromium) is pretty close to official support, however.

Unofficially, you could try to use F-Secure Browsing Protection addon from Google Chrome Store  with any Chromium/Blink/so-based browsers. For example, I managed to use or read about success with all mentioned ones and much more.

F-Secure Browsing Protection addon is mainly about HTTPS support and advanced things to smooth experience with Banking Protection. For example, extension is needed for get rating logos near search results under Google Search, Yahoo, Bing and DuckDuckGo.

But using the extension with not officially supported browsers may have  limitations. For example, with my attempt to use it in "Chromium" browser - banking protection is not triggered, but all other things are functioning well.

Sorry for my English. // and, by the way, Opera GX is unknown for me yet. So, it was mostly about general situation and Opera (chromium-based, blink?!).

Opera support is in our backlog, but not planned to any release yet. We'll have to see if we have time to bring it during this year.
