F-Secure Safe Trial

Just today downloaded trial. Looking at settings I see that my Wifi connection is fixed on Public and not Private which I want.

I have tried to change the setting but not seem able to. Please anyone can tell me how to make this change , thanks.

Sorry for my reply. I am only an F-Secure user.

F-Secure SAFE (for Windows) is designed to work with built-in firewall. So, sounds that your experience is about Windows Firewall.  But as far as I know, the Mac version also includes a firewall. Thus, good to know what is your OS.

In general, if your experience is about Windows, then there is Microsoft's article about it:

Both about one content, but different place in their website. Maybe helpful since it is also with description about different between "Public" and "Private".

Also, perhaps, you should be an Administrator of device (type of user account / rights). Anyway, you could back with additional information, feedback or some more ask points. I think someone can help you better with more clear instructions.
