Can I use F-Secure's Security package instead of VPN

Soon I will have to go to China, and I know that google is a sort of blocked there. But my work is based on using some of google services and I need it there. I understand that I have to turn on VPN being there to be able to continue working.
So would it be enough to use F-Secure TOTAL package without third-party VPN?

F-Secure TOTAL is a package that comprises of F-Secure SAFE, Freedome VPN and ID Protection so you have to install each product one after another depending if you need all 3 or just 2.
However, be mindful that VPN is restricted in China so you might want to consider doing the installation before your trip.
