Help Please: How long will FreedomE VPN be supported on iOS 12?

Hi

I'm sorry to be creating a thread about this, but this question is important to me because I use my iPad more than any device.

My iPad 3 only supports iOS 12 and does not support iOS 13 or iOS 14...

I believe FreedomE VPN for iOS recently stopped supporting iOS 11.

My big worry is that FreedomE VPN for iOS will stop supporting iOS 12 and I won't be able to use FreedomE VPN for iOS on my iPad. 😟

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi @Hopeful_Future

Once an OS version reaches its End of Life (EOL), you will be unable to use our products on on that device any longer. It will not accept a new installation but Freedome will remain active until it can no longer receive any updates after which it will shutdown.

Experts predict iOS 12 will reach its EOL when it clocks 5 years because Apple provides hardware support for 5 years from the manufactured date.

    Hi @Hopeful_Future

At the moment, we do not have any end-of-support date yet and we currently still support iOS 11 and later.

You can look at our supported platforms in this KB article here.

    Hi Jaims,

    I appreciate your reply!

What will happen when the FreedomE App stops supporting iOS 12? My iPad 3 can't upgrade beyond iOS 12 so would the FreedomE App stop working?
