So I just used F secure's router checker

in Other Home Security products

and first it said "no issues were found" and everything was normal it showed my internet provider company. Then I clicked check my router one more time and this time it says "Everything appears to be fine, but the check was incomplete" and instead of At&t that shows up, it says SoftLayer Technologies. What does this mean?

    I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions).

    Perhaps, if your system or Internet connection will utilize multiple DNS servers / IPs (for example, main and alternative one - if it is possible) - then such a result is expected. Actually, I am not sure about your certain situation - but maybe you could try to check a bit more and to find potential reason for difference or to understand whether both results are OK or not for your ISP/router/system.

    By the way, since your topic is under community board "F-Secure SENSE router" - does your experience is about their router solution or it was just a general ask, which is based only on their web page: https://www.f-secure.com/en/home/free-tools/router-checker ?
