I just bought f-secure antivirus and I can't enable browser extension and banking protection

Are you still experiencing this issue? Depending on the browser that you are using, please note that our supported browsers are Chrome, the new Microsoft Edge with Chromium, Firefox & Internet Explorer.
This is written in your F-Secure SAFE / Internet Security program: "Google Chrome/ Explorer/ Firefox browser extension is not in use"
If your F-Secure SAFE security shows that the Browsing Extension is not activated, then do the following:
- For Google Chrome: Open Chrome
- Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner
- Take your mouse to More tools, and then click on Extension.
- See if Browsing Protection by F-Secure is on the list. If it is on the list, then activate it in the bottom right corner (so that it becomes blue). You have now activated Browsing Protection by F-Secure and everything is working well.
- If Browsing Protection by F-Secure was not on the list, then do the following:
- Open F-Secure SAFE (or open this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/browsing-protection-by-f/jmjjnhpacphpjmnnlnccpfmhkcloaade and click Add to Chrome)
- Click on Settings
- Click on Secure Browsing and scroll down to Browser Extensions
- Click on Open Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome
- Browsing Protection by F-Secure is now working on your computer, and everything is good.
- For Firefox: Open Firefox
- Click on the 3 lines in the top right corner
- Click on Add-ons
- See if Browsing Protection by F-Secure is on the list. If it is on the list, then look if it is written "Enable" on the right side. If is it written "Enable", then click on the button to activate Browsing Protection by F-Secure. You have now activated Browsing Protection by F-Secure and everything is working well.
- If you cannot find the option to activate it, you can manually install the extension from here: https://download.sp.f-secure.com/online-safety/fs_firefox_https.xpi
- For Internet Explorer: Open Internet Explorer
- Click on the cogwheel in the top right corner
- Click on Manage Add-ons
- See if Browsing Protection by F-Secure is on the list. If it is on the list, then click on it. From there you can see if it is written "Enable" / "Disable" in the bottom right corner. If it is written "Enable", then click on that button to activate Browsing Protection by F-Secure. You have now activated Browsing Protection by F-Secure and everything is working well.
For the new Microsoft Edge with Chromium, once you update to the latest version of Edge, there would be an orange notification on the top right corner of the browser, click on it then enable the F-Secure Browsing Protection.
Once you have enabled these extensions, we recommend you do it on all the available browsers even if you seldom use them, then test if the Banking Protection works.

Does F-secure antivirus exclude browser security and banking protection?
Yes, F‑Secure Anti‑Virus (www.f-secure.com/en/home/products/anti-virus) is not about Browsing Protection or Banking Protection functionality.

Is it only included with f-secure safe?
Not only. Slightly another design of Browsing Protection and identical(?) Banking Protection are also available with F-Secure Internet Security solution (www.f-secure.com/en/home/products/internet-security)
Then, yes, with F-Secure SAFE; kind of advanced view of management and Family Rules or Parental Control part of Browsing protection(www.f-secure.com/en/home/products/safe)
And with F-Secure TOTAL package / subscription (www.f-secure.com/en/home/products/total) - where F-Secure SAFE is one of parts (this package-subscription with two more software and options).
Based on your screenshot - your installation and subscription is for F‑Secure Anti‑Virus where Browsing Protection module is not available. Maybe you could try to reach their official Support channel (for example, web-chat) and to ask about an ability to upgrade your subscription to another solution OR maybe refund and further purchase for solution with Browsing Protection module (where Banking protection included too).
