I've uninstalled my FREEDOME and tried removing VPN configuration on my iPhone 6, but the VPN still does not work.
Have you allowed the VPN configuration, without which F-Secure Freedome VPN will not work.
May we know the exact error message on your iPhone? Kindly provide us with the screenshot, your iOS version and your Freedome subscription - from Apple Store, standalone or F-Secure TOTAL?
This will help us narrow down the root cause and provide you with a solution.

Yes, I've allowed the VPN configuration. The app basically allows me to activate the subscription, but when I try to use the VPN, it never connects to any location and the protection turns back off.
I turned my iPhone off and then back on again, and now it works. Funny how these things work.
