Anyway, it is a bit unclear. Whether it should be "virus" (and does it only means /auto/-"redistributable" point) or any kind of malicious activities.
And whether it should be "fresh" or reused (with higher power) or improved well-known item.
In addition, is it global-scale or enough local ones (for example, strictly pinned to one location. "Finland" as example).
I think that each day there something fresh that is pinned to certain background. Although, I am not sure that it is something as "answer" for your topic.
Most likely, that "real" answer is something that any newsletter will discuss. Thus, good just to keep search web / related resources about theme.
