Can anyone tell me what is the point of having F secure on an iPad?

I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions). Thus, it is only my own feeling.

 

If your concern is about F-Secure SAFE solution:

- this is useful against known malicious / harmful / suspicious websites (pages that were rated as such).

But need to use its own F-Secure "Safe Browser".

Some words about:

- some parental control abilities (time limits / content blocker for web). if device is for kids.

- at least, there used to be a Finder option. Maybe now too.

Although, I think that all of these features with some limitations (or covered by built-in functionality or by another applications). But the point of having that layer on device is this functionality.

you are prompted to set the time limits and restricted content for the device.

 

All in all, it is addition to entire package.

 

If your ask is about another F-Secure solution - maybe there more critical points to use it on iOS.
