F-Secure Gmail Outlook 2010 problem

After installing F-Secure Freedome VPN program on my Windows 10 PC, I could no longer access my Gmail account without security issues from Google.  I use Outlook 2010 as my email client.    Removing my Gmail account from Outlook 2010 and then attempting to set it up again in Outlook 2010 under the VPN failed.  Please provide inisght or a solution.
