Ransomware protection

Hello!

I've been searching on malware protection and didn't find any article from 2018. Now that Windows 10 has released its own "folder protection" I was wondering if something similar would appear on F-Secure. When I check the Safety Center in Ransomware Protection it says this cannot be activated since I'm using F-Secure. Afaik this is not available so please consider creating a similar feature!

Sorry for my reply. I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions).

 

Current stable F-Secure SAFE (and, maybe, F-Secure Internet Security) with Ransomware Protection feature. And, at least, it is available for Windows platfform.

Thanks for the reply, I'm using the FS Protection beta version on the computer I was trying to find this feature as I thought it would be released there first! Now I understand, thanks for clarification!

In fact, FS Protection with such feature too. And, indeed, it was there before stable release.

Probably, introduced with release: https://community.f-secure.com/t5/Home-Security/FS-Protection-PC-Release-209/m-p/104579

And it is still available after tune-up and improvements.

 

Such option ("protected folders"-feature) is part of DeepGuard. And  possible to locate it under DeepGuard settings (with ability to turn on/turn off and set up protected folders).
