Will an old unused license for Internet Security 2013 work now?

As the title asks, will an old unused license for Internet Security 2013 work now?

I found two boxes of Internet Security 2013 and was wondering if it's possible to activate them to a current software or are they only for 2013 and therefore should just go in the trash?

The license should work for FSIS as such and is not related to 2013 alone. Please try to use the code and if you are still having issues with the code, you can contact our support team via chat or phone to check the code.

I checked with the swedish support but they said to just throw it away.

You can just try to use the code in the FSIS and will see if the code is accepted.
