F-secure freedome does not connect after update

Hi,
Just updated my freedome as the programme asked. Nothing usual about it. 
Re-started laptop - no connection from Freedome, so decided to re-install, and it is still not working. 
The update came about an hour ago. 
F-secure free scan has not found any harmful items.

1. What is the version of Freedome are you using?

2. What is the Operating System are you using?

3. When did you purchase Freedome?

4. Any error displayed?

Hi,
Thank you for the reply.

1) using F-secure Total. 
- F-safe is still runing as normal.
2) Windows 10 
3) I became a f-secure user in 2016, and has opgraded system and security along the road. Not been without cover, and I have got just over 320 days to next renewal.
4) no errors, but do find it strange that it connect to the internet without f-secure connecting. Before, the line would only come online when F-secure had connected. 
- I tried to connect to over servers in Europe and one in Cananda  - no luck.

Version number;  F-secure freedome vpn 2.22.5580.0
I use it as a part of TOTAL.
No problems before update.

Have you checked that you have all of the current windows updates? If yes, and issue still persist.
