Internet Security 2012 Installation Failed

Trying to install IS 2012 and keeps getting message " Unable to start installation. Network error, Please check your internet connection and try again later." meanwhile, I have full internet connection on this laptop.

Can anyone suggest possible cause of this problem.

Are you behind proxy setting for your internet connection? Try to use a direct connection using LAN connection and try to start the installation again.

 

If you still encountered same issue, please contact our Support for futher investigation.

The laptop is not behind any proxy. I am using Windows XP, SP3. 

Its frustrating for the past 2 days, since I had already unistalled the former AV from the laptop.

I seem to be the first and only one experiencing this problem.

Does it have anything to do with Java Runtime?

I had to totally re-format the windows XP SP3 before it successfully installed.

It was such a nightmare.

Try to restore your computer to the earlier time and then reinstall IS2012 again.

You can restore to some of your earlier good configuration or else cmpletely format it and again instally it from the begining.
