Browsing protection not responding in Chrome


I continuously have problems with F-Secure browsing protection in Chrome. The browser is waiting for browsing protection to respond. When I let it run, it often takes like 1-2 minutes before Chrome continues. This has been going on for a few weeks now. This is on a new Windows 10 laptop. Not sure what else to state about it, other than that's highly annoying. The problem does not occur in Firefox.
