reboot bug!

last week i rebooted wen i was away for 10 minutes (didnt even see the reboot question) a whole days work corrupted.

today... i saw the question... asked to wait 4 hours... but it still rebooted my pc in 10 minutes.

again a whole days work lost.

i hate f secure for this!

    As far as I am aware, F-Secure will not automatically reboot your machine. Windows 10, however, is very likely to.

    i saw an f secure screen saying it was gonna reboot my machine.

    and last week i didnt see it because i was not at my desk. but my collegues did see it!

    second time this has happened

    I'm also only F-Secure user (their home solutions; Windows platform, in general).

     

    But just interesting -> does your experience is about F-Secure SAFE?

    Or your experience is about F-Secure KEY, business F-Secure solution or potential branded F-Secure security solution?

     

    With my experience -> I did not remember any such prompts with F-Secure IS/SAFE. At least, recently... and 'so often' how it was with your experience.

    More common situation when F-Secure SAFE created prompt that 'restart is needed' like troubles with security protection (but when I experienced such -> autorestart is not happened).

    If your experience is about F-Secure SAFE (where topic is created): does it possible to create screenshot of such 'prompt' or re-phrased it? How it looks?

     

    If about another F-Secure solution: there was such discussion about recent F-Secure KEY update:

    And there is F-Secure Business board (if your experience is about Business solution):

    Maybe someone from Business Community users do able to understand what is reason for such situation.

     

    If your experience is F-Secure SAFE (or AV/IS), also, it is an option to contact their direct F-Secure Support Channels (chat as example):

    chat is available on current minute (and, time to time, can be unavailable).

    Like investigation about reasons and potential further fixes.

    Hey,

    Is this about Client Security or PSB products? I'm pretty sure consumer (eg SAFE) products will not automatically reboot your machine under any circumstances, corporate products might depending on how they're deployed
