I'm also only F-Secure user (their home solutions; Windows platform, in general).
But just interesting -> does your experience is about F-Secure SAFE?
Or your experience is about F-Secure KEY, business F-Secure solution or potential branded F-Secure security solution?
With my experience -> I did not remember any such prompts with F-Secure IS/SAFE. At least, recently... and 'so often' how it was with your experience.
More common situation when F-Secure SAFE created prompt that 'restart is needed' like troubles with security protection (but when I experienced such -> autorestart is not happened).
today... i saw the question... asked to wait 4 hours... but it still rebooted my pc in 10 minutes.
If your experience is about F-Secure SAFE (where topic is created): does it possible to create screenshot of such 'prompt' or re-phrased it? How it looks?
If about another F-Secure solution: there was such discussion about recent F-Secure KEY update:
And there is F-Secure Business board (if your experience is about Business solution):
Maybe someone from Business Community users do able to understand what is reason for such situation.
If your experience is F-Secure SAFE (or AV/IS), also, it is an option to contact their direct F-Secure Support Channels (chat as example):
chat is available on current minute (and, time to time, can be unavailable).
Like investigation about reasons and potential further fixes.
