How to remove Freedome notification icons from Android status bar?

What's the situation now? Can they be removed somehow? 

 

I can see two icons: one from Android System "VPN is activated by Freedome" and another from Freedome "Freedome is ON". I want to remove both of these as it is easy to confuse them with message notifications.
