Microsoft Outlook mobile app - data security concern?

Hello,

 

I've been asked to investigate a security concern for our company with regards to the Outlook app for Android and iOS. According to an article I found here, there are significant concerns that the iOS app is capable of sending credentials and data to Microsoft servers, and that's part of the EULA, just as it is for Windows 10. I can't find any specific information about Android but I suspect that it would not be different. Does anyone have any further links or information about this?
