Ad Tracking

I recently purchased F-Secure Freedome but notice that there are still ads targetted specifically to me. Whether that be for similar products I have been looking at or even the exact products I've recently browsed. Why would this be the case?

It is likely the tracking is done through HTTPS in this case. Freedome does not block any tracking from HTTPS traffic because that would require a man-in-the-middle attack against the HTTPS, and we’ve decided that the security risks related overweight the possible privacy gains.
