Clean app data on iPhone or iPad Data stored by an app can be cleaned out using the Storage & iCloud Usage option in settings.
- Go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage.
- Tap Manage Storage.
- Select the app that you want to clean.
- Tap Delete App. This deletes the app together with its data and documents.
- Open App Store and re-install the app again.
