Why am I unable to access Yle Areena (areena.yle.fi) when using F-Secure Freedome VPN or Privacy VPN on F-Secure Total?

Yle has blocked users from viewing streaming content when connected through a VPN. We can unfortunately do nothing to change this, as it is YLE's decision to decide who can access the service.

However, according to this article, if you register for a Yle Tunnus (username and password) you can watch Yle Areena content in EU countries as long as your home address is in Finland.
