Issue:
Why can't I watch 3rd party streaming services (e.g. Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ABC etc) with F-Secure FREEDOME VPN?
Resolution:
Netflix and some other streaming services have blocked the usage of VPN, including FREEDOME. This can be due to local content agreements that do not allow the program to be viewed outside the country where the rights have been sold to. You can watch YouTube video by F-Secure which explains more about why it has been blocked.
You might be able to use these streaming services while using a different location on FREEDOME, but we cannot guarantee that. While unfortunate, there is nothing we can do to directly prevent a content provider from blocking FREEDOME connections if they choose to do so.
