this forum is too jumpy on Android!

I am writing from Safe Browser on Android. What I write gets randomly posted every few seconds, whether I like it or not, forcing me to re-open and edit, and edit, and edit, and edit. Is it by design? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Now the page complains that I inserted incorrect html. But I never tried to edit in html. The page changes status at random, produces html on its own will, and complains about its own errors.

Hello,

Sorry for my own user's feedback. Usually, this happened after try to copy something from another place / another webpage (where can be "html" or anything else). Trouble is that "content" is clipboarded fully with all styles, characters and its view. As a result, there could be unsupported combo.

I think that this is protection against cross-site scripting and other web-attacks or tries to manipulate vulnerable places (for example, by inserting scripts into reply html). Functionality is also powered by Lithium platform. So, if you are able to repeat it with known steps (examples) - maybe good to provide it for further try to improve. When you edit reply via "Rich text" tab - it is automatically "rendered" to HTML. Then, during try to preview it or "post" - kind of filtration and doublecheck against tricky content is appeared.

My own experience, usually, is about indeed tricky "content" (invalid html) - although, it is not always clear what is exact trouble. Possible to workaround it by copy content to "text-editor" (Notepad as example) and then recopy it from Notepad to reply area.

Thanks!

Hi preppy-skeptic ,

Does the post gets published even without you pressing the post button in Safe Browser on Android?

Are you seeing this issue with other browsers in Android as well?

Re: this forum is too jumpy on Android!

Hi, thanks for the reply!

I am now writing from Firefox. No jumpiness in my first reply post, nor in opening and editing. Now I'll try from Secure Browser.

OK, I'm on Secure Browser. I notice that today newline markers are briefly shown (they shouldn't appear AT ALL in the editing window) but later interpreted and rendered correctly. Still jumpy. Changes in cursor position get misinterpreted and clicks fall randomly on "post" or "cancel" or "enter url".  Not very usable.
