Banking Protection vs. mobileTAN authorization gateway

Dear F-Secure support,

 

I'd like to let you know that your Banking Protection is causing more trouble than it protects.

 

When doing online payments with mobileTAN protected credit cards the payment fails due to that redirection from the mTAN gateway to the shop site does not work. Even worse as F-Secure SAFE does not report that it prohibited this redirection one will likely just try the payment again and again, thus authorizing multiple payments - which is by the nature of it a high security risk.

 

The only way to fix this is by turning banking protection off.
