How to recover from problems with F-Secure SENSE Router? Sometimes things can go wrong. Maybe you lost power temporarily, the internet is down, the connection seems too slow, or maybe the SENSE Router app or the router crashed. There are a handful of ways to fix the situation.
Note: If you need help during the setup, tap the ? icon in the app to get more information.
To troubleshoot problems, do as follows:
- If you feel that your connection is slow, you may need to restart SENSE Router. To restart the router, unplug the power cord and plug it in again.
- If things are still not working out, try resetting your SENSE Router and restart the SENSE Router app.
Note: There are two types of resets in F-Secure SENSE Router: soft and factory reset. Both the soft reset and the factory reset wipe all your settings, so you will need to reconnect your devices to the SENSE network. Also, the factory reset restores SENSE Router to its original firmware version.
- Reset your SENSE Router. For more information about the two reset alternatives, see the related links below.
